February '13 Birchbox!!

Dare I say this is one of my favorite Birchboxes ever?
DARE I???
*shrug* It's been done.

Take the jump to see why!!

While this box wasn't as packed full of products as usual, I'm absolutely fine with that because I'm all about quality over quantity.
This. Box. DELIVERED (literally... right to my P.O. Box!! #i'mnotfunny).

I'm always hearing (and giggling) about the Dr. Lipp Nipple Balm and how fabulous is is for your lips.
Since I'm kind of in the middle of a blizzard that's supposed to make history (save me...) this'll be great for hydrating my winter lips. I'm an absolute lip product wh0re so this'll be a great addition to my (disgustingly large) balm stash.

I'm a big fan of Juicy Couture fragrances (Viva la Juicy and la Fleur are a couple of my favorite perfumes) so I was quite excited to try couture La La out. ESPECIALLY since Juicy Couture always makes sure that their sample vials are the spray kind rather than the cheap-o versions with just a cap.

I have yet to say whether or not this is going to be a favorite perfume of mine, but time will tell!!
Upon first spritz and wear this is a fairly average fruity white floral perfume but the mandarin and red currant dry down is quite unique and pleasant on my skin.

I'm literally on my last spritzes of hairspray so I was so happy to get a huge sample in my Birchbox!!
I've never tried out this brand but I'm all for a flexible hold and the bottle is kind of sort of really adorable.

It'll take a bit of getting used to though... the scent smells like cherry Schnapps (I abhor Schnapps) so it's pretty sickly. Thankfully the scent doesn't linger and is gone after about ten minutes so I won't have to smell like a cheap drink all day.

Hold the phone.
Call your best friend.
NOW SCREAM IN GIDDY GIRLY BLISS!!!!!!!!

This one little product made my Birchbox worth a million dollars (okay, I'm exaggerating); I have been lusting over the Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer for as long as I can remember but have always put off getting it since I hadn't tried a product of theirs before.
After receiving the Balm's HOT MAMA! in my Birchbox last month I figured that Mary Lou-Manizer would be everything I expected it to be but sadly couldn't justify buying a highlighter when I have a couple already.

Thankfully Birchbox made my stupid girl dreams come true and sent me my own little piece of heaven (or what I imagine heaven's clouds to be dusted with).

Left - Original Swatch / Right - Blended Out

Isn't this gorgeous!??!?!?!??
Just like their HOT MAMA! blush, the Balm's Mary-Lou Manizer is buttery soft, finely milled, and extremely pigmented; the swatch above was just an up-down swipe in the pan and gave me more than enough product to highlight my face with (what I'm trying to say is, this is going to be a long lasting love affair that I can't wait to begin).

And a piece of caramel filled Ghirardelli chocolate?
Don't mind if I do.

Hoenstly, this is one of the best Birchboxes I have ever received; it spanned a great range of beauty products and each thing felt catered to me since I was either lusting after, thinking about, or in need of each one of these little guys.

Do you receive a monthly Birchbox?
What did you get this month?
Don't have a Birchbox subscription?
What would you have liked to have received?
Do share!!

xoxo - Cassie
