I've always enjoyed my L'Oreal Colour Caresse (I won't type out the whole name because it gets a little ridiculous) and this seems really similar! I think i'll try to find a similar shade to the L'Oreal version I have and see if it's more comfortable on the lips. :)
ReplyDeleteThey're actually VERY different Lauren!! I personally can't stan those L'oreal ones since they're so wet and whatnot… blech, just not my thing. These are VERY plush and hydrating and don't act as a stain like the former does. Definitely try these out, they're pretty freaking awesome :)
DeleteCassie made me buy it! This type of product is right up my alley. I do have a question though: you did a quick shot of the glitter in the gloss...did you find much glitter hanging around the lips after the colour wore off?

DeleteBut anyways yes, yes, and YES there is definitely glitter that sticks around. I think I showed a shot of that in the video? Though I was completely hopped up on my pneumonia meds when I edited this video so I could be wrong hahah. I'm definitely including a better shot of it in the blog post I'm putting together though so 'stay tuned' I suppose :) The glitter has absolutely no grit to it though so if that's what you're worried about (I know I was) then you'll be fine… the glitter is pretty apparent visually but not texturally!
I love these! ....but only the permanent ones. I tried a limited edition one a few weeks ago, Radiant Bloom I think it was called (light bright pink). Egads the SMELL. Super strong fake perfumey. It made my throat hurt from breathing it in. And I'm not sensitive to smell! Plus it settled in my lip lines. Gifted it to my mom stat. But Breathtaking Apricot looks great on you! You should try Captivating Carnation if you haven't. :)

Oh no I'm sorry to hear that Taylor!! I have one of the limited edition ones and actually love it as much as the one I tested in this video D: It didn't smell any different from the normal ones… crazy and sad you had that experience! But thank you so much and I'll definitely be checking out more shades soon <3
