I fell in love awhile back with the Roseland Disco Wrap bracelet from Baublebar when Missglamorazzi first started wearing hers. However, I just couldn't justify spending $28 (plus shipping, I'm sure) on a bracelet that I was sure I could make myself.

I'm so happy with the way this turned out! I wasn't able to find rose gold beads like the original bracelet is made with, and I'm fairly positive that the Baublebar bracelet is a bit larger/chunkier than mine, but I really like the size that this ended up as.
It's perfect for stacking bracelets or just wearing on its own. I love how the beads make a slight gradient on their way down towards the sliding knot (you can see it ever so slightly in the photo above) so I could wear this with any other metal finish.
A rare quiet moment of Galileo chilling like a boss.
HOW I was able to make this while Galileo has been so absolutely psychotic these past few days is beyond me, but I got it done and am so happy; this has been on my D.I.Y. list for months!
Have you done any D.I.Y.'s that you're super proud of lately?
Anything that's been on your D.I.Y. list but you just haven't gotten around to it?
Let me know; I'm always looking for inspiration! :)

What a cool bracelet! I am DIY challenged but I always love to see what everyone else is up to.
ReplyDeleteHaahhaha (I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at your wonderful terminology) I'm sorry to hear that you're D.I.Y. challenged! I actually have some friends that feel the same way as you that I've been able to help out before so if you want any tips or anything I'd love to help :)

Your diy came out so nice! This is on my diy list now! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha yay!! Glad to have inspired you :) It was really easy, so I do hope you give it a try. I got all of the materials (both types of beads, leather cording, super glue) at Michaels if that's at all helpful; I think it only cost around $10 for everything!
