NOTD: O.P.I. Don't Pretzel My Buttons!

Yes, I take notes on my hand... I am that kid.

I know there are different teams on mannequin hands; either you love them or you hate them. I happen to be in the boat of: If they're done right, then I looooooove them. I just haven't been able to find a color that actually went with my skin tone... well, that was until this little gem came into my life.

I think I've mentioned it before, but I'm a HUGE sucker for a cute and clever nail polish name. I really don't know what it is, but even if the color is butt-ugly, I will still purchase it if the name is a winner. 

That's kind of how I felt with this polish; I knew that either this was going to be the answer to my search for the perfect mannequin hand nail or else it was going to be an utter disaster. Thankfully for O.P.I., this new Germany based collection of theirs tugged on my heartstrings since I studied in Deutschland back in high school.

AND THANK GOODNESS. WE HAVE A MATCH MADE IN MANNEQUIN HAND HEAVEN.

I think this works on me so well because it's a shade or two lighter than my actual skin tone. Thus it gives the illusion of a mannequin hand without actually being one and just gives that really polished and put-together nude nail look. 

Oh, and did I mention that THIS WAS ONLY ONE COAT OF POLISH?

Yup. 

I wouldn't lie to you about something this serious; this is one of the most opaque and creamy nail polishes I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
