Youtube Update!! Oh Yeahhh, This is Another Two-fer!

Good morning everyone (or whatever time of day it is when you read this)!!

I just wanted to post a link to my latest Youtube video... it's been SO LONG. Especially considering I completely spaced on posting my other most recent video onto my blog. 

How I ever graduated with high honors in both high school and undergrad with this horrific memory of mine is beyond me. Le sigh.

Can you believe that tomorrow is the beginning of October??? I sure can't and will probably continue to be in denial until I receive my October Birchbox in a couple of weeks. September really flew by!!

I will continue to remember my first day of grad school when I fell out of a bus (remember this blog post where it looks like someone went to town on my knees with a crow bar?) considering I still have a large bruise/welt on my left knee; I wish I was kidding.

L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow "Iced Latte" & "Endless Pearl": Swatches + Review!!

Up for review today is something that I feel gets a LOT of hype here in the beauty blogosphere/on beauty Youtubeland. I decided to pick up two of the shades since they were BOGO 50% at the time and I felt like these were the two shades that I would wear most often; I'm a sucker for nudes/golds... in eyeshadow and otherwise (mind out of the gutter people!! I'm an artist and figure drawing is one of my specialties, that's all!).

I slept through my class this morning (technically it's still going on now)... I couldn't help it though!! My alarm went off which prompted Galileo to snuggle up against me and purr like crazy, then when my second alarm went off I shut it off, gave Galileo one last pat (I thought), and he promptly snuggled into my nest/chest and became a purr machine.

Can you blame me for saying "eff it" and going back to sleep with my baby??? I just hope this doesn't become a trend in the future...

So, with a day off I hope to get some filming done for Youtube (it's been FOREVER; literally over a month I think) and, of course, update my blog :)

9/24 OOTD

Alright everybody, brace yourself for one of the most boring OOTD's ever... well, it'll be boring if you're a fan of my babble anyways. Today has pooped me out to a point I didn't know a day of classes could poop me (is that the proper terminology? I'm probably going to regret typing that sentence in the morning... good thing I lost every ounce of shame I had after two years of organic chemistry).

Any time the words "I" and "girly" appear in the same sentence is a time for personal celebration; while I wear girly outfits some of the time, that doesn't mean that I'm necessarily feeling girly. 

But let me tell you: if I'm wearing pink glitter on my nails, you know that it wasn't without reasoning... it means I am feeling like a girl! Weiiiiiiird...

As much as I loved my outfit yesterday, it just felt way too weird to not be wearing any thrifted clothing. So today I threw on two of my favorite thrifted items and HUZZAH I felt like a super star!!

I absolutely cannot believe that it's almost the end of September!! I had to check the date for this post and it made me a little queasy; where has the time gone? Then I remember I just moved halfway across the country on my own, started my Master's program, and am a proud new mamma of a crazy kitten... yup.

OOTD 9/11

First off, I just want to say that my heart goes out to anyone who lost a loved one ten years ago today; I couldn't even type the title of this post without feeling... well, for lack of a better word, off. 

I was young (only in sixth grade) when the planes hit the twin towers but I still remember where I was (home-ec) and the grief that the adults around me (who actually understood what was happening) were expressing. I know it's silly, but I really do wish that some day there will be a world where everybody gets along and treats each other with respect.

My second day of grad school was just about as much of a failure as morning number one.

Will I ever be coordinated, be it with my limbs or with my directional skills? It doesn't seem very hopeful at this point of my life.

I can't believe this day finally got here, but it did and it felt really good to get back into the artist swing of things.

I just wanted to do a really quick and simple post showing you all what I wore to my orientation yesterday!! It was a really long day (especially with me getting lost... hopefully I'll figure out parking in Boston one of these days) but I had fun and met some great people that I'm excited to have in my program :) We're a diverse mix, from what I can tell, but that should just mean that we all have a lot to learn from each other; I'm excited to see everyone's artwork once the semester kicks off tomorrow!
